Well, I did not write this yesterday I was so tired when we got home and so over whelmed with what we saw I just didn't have the words.
Aitutaki, Cook Islands is paradise !! Bert posted Facebook and we had a great time.
The bus was on time for the plane, the plane ride was ok, then to the next bus and the short island tour and then down to the lagoon for the boat ride, we had 4 stops, walks on the islands and talks about the flora and fauna, two snorkel opportunities and a lovely walk on "One foot island".
One Foot Island, is where the float planes used to land when crossing the South Pacific between Australia or New Zealand and USA. Got our passports stamped there, and also sent a postcard from there - the post cards and stamps are collectors items..
Rather than ramble about the trips, I am going to just post the pictures and you can see for yourselves as I still don't have the words or poetic know how to explain Aitutaki Island and Lagoon.
