Happy Birthday Lisa!!!!
The hotel excelled at breakfast - Bob and Bert had farm fresh eggs and the biggest toast ever seen - toasted over a wood fire.
We drove on the Autovia (motorway) and the tolls for the day ended up around €30 which we thought was a little expensive. Lunch was just outside Pamplona and then we drove up through a mountain range and loads of tunnels.
We arrived in San Sebastián, looks really nice with narrow streets and ornate buildings. Had 30 mins to spare before meeting the chap to let us in the apartment. So drove around but the roads were busy and hectic. Still getting used to driving on the otherwise of the road, but had a great look around.
The apartment is lovely, 3 beds and 2 baths and well appointed kitchen. The best is the balcony overlooking a boulevard and the road, then the lovely river and a very ornate bridge.
We had dinner at home and a few wines on the balcony to relax and unwind.
