Day Twelve

Moving from Cradle Mountain to George Town

Rose early and it was cold again, but clear and bright. Light breakfast and packed the car and headed down through the tight winding roads. The views and mountain passes were stunning.

Off the mountains and into the farming land and up to the west Tamar River area and up to a lovely beachside place called Beauty Point, no much here so we headed back down and across the Tamar River over a bridge called BATMAN bridge, yes really.

Into Georgetown and straight to Peppers Resort, we have a lovely apartment with balcony views over the inlet and town. Bags in the rooms and a freshen up and we went for a look around to Low Head and looked at the many lighthouses in the area and some of the interesting historical buildings.

Back to Peppers for a lovely dinner, the resort is deserted but the meals were excellent and the views across the Tamar with the sun setting was nice.

NB: I haven't posted blogs for a couple of days as I have a bad cold and not feeling very well at all.. Catching up now...
