Monday Day #3

It has rained heavily and the wind blew hard throughout the night, lucky our little home is secure.

Up for home cooked breakfast and slow wake up, then off to LBV for coffee and cinnamon donut.  Back to the  "fruits of rarotonga" snorkel site on the south side of the island, still overcast but really wanted to get wet.

It was lovely but so unfit, we found loads of fish on the outer reef and I was thrilled to find a nudibranch - my favourites....  then Bert found a Spanish Dancer - I have been looking for one for ever, never seen one and now I have.  No camera with us but this is what they look like.

After about 1 hour in the water I was not cold but a little tired, so home we came to shower and change for lunch.

Back to "The Mooring" as fast as we could we were starving...  I had the tuna sashimi, it was delicious, about 500 grams of tuna - what more could you ask for.   Bert had the seared tuna cajun taco's, they were lovely but spicy.

The "Spanish Dancer" is teasing Bert but it wasn't there on his second snorkel.

Off to town for a drink at Trader Jacks overlooking the Rarotonga Harbour and then had Vietnamese at Rickshaws in Muri, it was nice and very filling.

Saw a little of the sunset on our way home, we will have to make a trip to the western side for the sunset rather than risk hitting it in our travels.

Another busy day on holidays, we will stop running around soon.... or maybe not....
