May 1st - Paddling day

Bert got up and wandered off to do some sunrise pictures, when he got back I got up and looked out the window....

Really, this had been out there and I had no idea.  Breath taking view.  Off to breakfast and onto the little boats.

Bert might have been a little enthusiastic with the pink zinc but he definitely won't get burnt.

We went to a few places today,

1.  A protected beach with some wonderful high cliffs, very Jurassic and very peaceful.  Paddled there and chilled out

2.  A long white beach, they dropped us off at one beach and took the boats about 2kms further up and we paddled up to lunch.

3. A lagoon with a very narrow opening but so tranquil inside.  The narrow opening was very shallow but inside was spectacular, cliffs, fish and plants all made it look great.

Home by boat exhausted.  The area near the hotel is so shallow that the boats cannot make it to the shore so they park as close as they can and we wade to and from them in the lovely clean and warm tropical water - it is no hardship at all.

Really enjoying the Philippines, and the paddling.
