It's relocation day, so everyone is awake early - not planned but it seems to happen. We pack and pickup the car, the drive should be about 3.5 hours only.
We head off up the motorway into the mountains again, spectacular valleys, mountains and windy roads. No pictures as it is quite overcast.
There is a lot of major roadwork being done, which slows the trip down a little, right through the middle of Llieda a big town, very busy traffic and thank you TomTom for keeping us on the right road.
Been on a lot of motorways and paying tolls, so we divert onto a smaller road for the last leg, it is now raining quite heavily and we come around the back of Tarragona - very heavy industry and not pleasant. Down into La Penida and the Mediterranean Sea.
Our hotel is nice, Gran Palas Hotel.
Bert and I go for a walk down the sea front and see the paddle boats, you know the ones with the swan heads... The tourists - look like from Russia are standing in the water and talking , it seems funny they are not swimming but just standing.
We people watch for a little and watch the surfers and a couple of SUP riders playing in the waves.. 7pm we wander back to hotel - not dark yet and we meet Bob and Joyce for a drink in the lobby lounge. Dinner is room service watching a soccer match and barracking for Barcelona - how very Spanish!! Hehehe
