October 23, Thursday - Cordoba

Starting to slow down a little, we are nearing the end of our 6th week away. Late breakfast and off back to the lovely church we found on our bus tour.

The bus tour said this is the only church in Spain and possibly the world with the triple arches on the front.

The next picture is the open top bus, see how narrow the streets are that it travels down...

We wandered for hours and got turned around and ended up wandering about 1 hour in the wrong direction, had a good look around and found a huge square, some market stalls and restaurants inside and a local food market on one of the sides.

We found a very similar structure in San Sebastián and were told it was an old Bullfighting Stadium, the rich folk bought high level spaces for them to watch from and the poor people were at ground level.

We had lunch at 2:30pm in a lovely little restaurant but were very tired and hot by this time.

Headed straight home from here for a siesta time, had dinner in the hotel, which was very good and an after dinner drink on the rooftop afterwards.

The mornings and evenings are quite cool, although the days have been heating up you need something over your shoulders at night, so sitting out is refreshing after the hot days.
