We have had a wonderful 3 days exploring, eating, going to the markets and being absorbed into Santiago De Compostela lifestyle. Have not posted each day as we have been just walking 10-12 Kms a day around the streets, looking and living like locals. Waking up around 8:30am, breakfast by 10:00am and lunch by 1pm shopping at the markets, picking out our preferred produce and a bottle or two of wine.
We had octopus today, empanadas yesterday.....for lunch. Pasta and vegetable for dinner, and Bert has made a small entree each night, chorizo and limes or smoked salmon on garlic breads.
The big thing are our tattoos, yes we both got one.

Wonder how many feet have trod these stones over the centuries, who they were and where they had been and where they were going..
Tomorrow we head off again, this time to Zamora for 2 nights. More to follow on that.
