We left the house for the 10:10 am Ferry from Stockton to Newcastle... Stella and Graham met us at the ferry, we had brunch at the Newcastle Bake House.
We had time to spare so off to the Customs House Hotel for a cold wine - thank you Stella and Graham for coming to see us off.
We caught the train down for the first time and then changed at Central Station to the Airport, it was simple... Came out right inside the airport and our hotel was only metres from the arrivals level. It is going to be great at 3am tomorrow....
We will have dinner at the hotel and an early night - be ready for our big day sitting in the plane tomorrow.
