Day Ten

Stanley to Cradle Mountain.

We are all a little sad to be leaving, our lovely little green house with a view but there is more around the next corner.

Our first stop was Penguin - yes really there is a town with that name!!

The Internet here is very unreliable so I am going to post only words today and when I get a stronger signal the photo's will be posted.

Coffee and cake in the bakery in Penguin and some photo's and we are off into the hills towards Cradle Mountain.

We arrived at the Cradle Chalet and Bob wasn't feeling great so went for a nap, we went down to Cradle Mountain about 25-30km away and 'scoped' the town. There is no town, there is an information centre, 2 hotels and a camping ground. One of the hotels has a photographic exhibition, it was very good and so was their coffee. Bert bought a lovely fleecey sweater/jacket for cheap so we got Bob one too.

Dinner at the hotel was fantastic, ocean trout and veggies and 3 mini desserts (all chocolate based). A little pricey but we have not of options, and we could cook in our room but it was very nice.
