Cranebrook, NSW - Weekend with friends

The initial plan for this weekend was a paddle on the Harbour and then travel out and delivery a new 'whizz bang' BBQ to friends.

The paddling was cancelled, but not to be defeated the BBQ delivery was still on.  The delivery included a lovely dinner and overnight stay.

We travelled down from Newcastle via Ourimbah and then onto the scenic road to Wisemans Ferry, stopping at Spencer for a coffee on the river bank, this photo below is the whole township.

Onwards to Wisemans Ferry and over the Hawksbury River - by Ferry!! hence the name - and onto Windsor, Richmond and to our friends in Cranebrook.

They live on acreage with huge gum tress and a lot of space (and an indoor pool!).
