May 5th - Manila

Lazy start to the day, breakie at 9:30am.  We headed off to the Mall of Asia - a big shopping mall so we could wander around in the air conditioning.   The traffic is very busy here.  Had some great shops and loads of eating places, Marks and Spencer's and loads of designer shops to look at.

We had a nice couple of hours, got some Cinnabon and returned to the hotel for a quiet afternoon and relax.

Had sundowners at the rooftop cocktail lounge.

Afterwards we went to the Woodfired Pizza place on level 3 and had a lovely pizza and salad, and a bottle of Aussie Red Wine, we were joined by Tracey and Pete.  Umm lovely.

Our last night in the Philippines. We had a great holiday, albeit very busy and some long travel days but have been to places and seen things that I would not necessarily have planned to do by ourselves.  The trip has been great and the folk have been wonderful to travel with.

Fly home tonight on the 20:30pm Qantas flight to Sydney, pick up Bestsy Barina who has been waiting patiently at Sydney airport for us and a 3 hour drive home...
