Up early this morning and met with the family (all 24 of us)at the tourist office. Tim and Marine went hie today but got up extra early to see us off at the bus..
Bus ride with the funniest tour guide we have ever had, her words were correct but very out of context, it amused us for the hour up to Monserrat and the hour back.
Fantastic place, can't explain it, without pictures. Very peaceful and tranquil place, the cathedral is beautiful, ornate and awe inspiring. Listened to the Monserrat Boys Choir for a moment or two.
Came home and had a long walk to the beach and home to the apartment, very sore feet. A little rest and a quiet dinner, just us two, very pleasant and relaxing, a nice long walk afterwards to settle it down before home to catch up with the world.
There is a lot of police around Barcelona right now - both comforting but also a little unsettling, the police here are heavily armed and have riot gear very close by.
So tired, needs some sleep...
