Up and on the road by 9:00am and it was the most direct route to Granada - motorway all the way. We saw mile after mile of olive trees and back as far as the eye can see....no idea what the native vegetation would be like. The roads here are wonderful and there is a lot of new works as well, big dual lane roads that are not at all crowded and the drives are very polite.
Had to drop the car at the Granda train station that we could not find, but ended up parking near as we could figure and walking to it.
taxi to our hotel and time for lunch and wait for David and Pam to arrive. Had beer and tapas on the street at our Hotel, Vincci Albayzin. The Albayzin is the area of old city of Granada. The hotel is lovely.
David and Pam arrive safe and sound and join us.
We venture out for dinner and found a place we liked the look of and it was very nice but probably a little tourist, the food was good but the service as dreadful. My meal arrived about 15 minutes after Bert's, and we were charged for the bread rolls that are usually part of the meal.
End of day - tired and off to bed..
