Day Fifteen

Swansea, Coles Bay and boat ride

Swansea is a lovely oldie world town, so there is not alot here to do. We booked to do the Wineglass Bay Boat Tour. We woke and it was foggie and wet outside but we decided to go. The lovely lady from the cottages brought us a loaf of hot bread, jam and butter so we had that for breakfast with bacon and eggs.

Off in the car, and over to Coles Bay (via the chemist for me to get some cold tablets) - the drive was about 45 minutes, put on heavy rubberised coats (it was raining) and loaded on the boat.

It was 4 hours looking around and hearing the background and historical information, we had champagne, beer - cheese and oysters as a midday snack. Bert got my oysters (yukkie things) and the cheese was delicious it was Ashgrove Vintage Cheddar with a little tub of Quince paste and little knives - so very polite!

While in Swansea we had a drive around - checkout the name of the walking track nearby. See below:

Dinner tonight is the Swansea RSL - we even booked a table, dinner was TBone steaks for the boys, Scallops for Joyce and Flathead for me. Very nice.

Tired and still sick so a little time in front of the heater and I am going to my bed with the electric blanket on.
